A childhood riding horses on her family farm in Mallala, South Australia (pop 600) gave Abbie Ferris the urge to keep pushing forward.

2025 took things to another level – a Golden Guitar nomination, CMC Rocks QLD and officially showcasing at CMA Fest in June, a milestone reflecting how far her star has risen and her growing acceptance within the Nashville music community. 2026 has already seen her voted a finalist in the Breakthrough Artist category at the Countrytown Awards, with tours ahead with The Wolfe Brothers and Dylan Wright.

Her new EP ‘Stockman’s Daughter’ debuted at #20 on the Australian ARIA Country Albums Chart, featuring collabs with Morgan Evans and Dylan Wright.

Words of encouragement from Lainey Wilson to “hold on to what makes you stand out” after they shared the bill at CMC Rocks helped Abbie embrace her raucous sound – raunchy guitars, propulsive drums, lyrics that tell her story from farm girl to traveling the world, finding strength after heartbreak and delivering it all with the smoky passion in her voice.
